You have the option of contacting your nearest AgriVenture Office for an application pack or you can apply using the forms which are available on this Website. At any point in the application process, please feel free to contact us, when we will be only too happy to help you with your application.

If you are completing the online Application Form you will need to follow these instructions:

On the application forms menu, you will find all the forms you need. When you print them off, you will need to complete the form in your own handwriting, in black ink. If you are applying for an AgriVenture Plus programme there is an extra section that you will need to complete.



Write autobiography clearly or you may type this on a separate page.



Obtain passport photographs (8 for one Country programmes and 12 for two Countries) If you do not hold a valid passport, apply for one immediately. You must hold a current driver’s licence that is valid until at least 6 months after you arrive home, as well as an International driver’s licence from your local Automobile Association prior to your departure from New Zealand.



Complete the Agreement Form



Arrange for two work references which should include all your work experience. Also provide a character reference from someone who knows you very well, but not a family member. The references should be sent in a sealed envelope to the person you arrange your interview with.



As part of the application process, we run assessment interviews to best match your requirements with our placements that are available. For the latest up to date list of our Interviewers and Programme Prices, please request this information from the AgriVenture Office at nz@agriventure.com. Once you have received your interviewer list, you should arrange an interview with one of them. Please remember these people are volunteers and do our interviews for us in their spare time, so try to give them as much notice as possible of your need for an interview.



Send your application papers, autobiography, agreement form and references to your interviewer so that they can read them through before the interview. When you attend your interview, please take with you the passport photos, deposit cheque for $800.00 payable to 'IAEA' your passport and driving license (both parts).



The balance of your programme cost is due approx 60 days prior to the start of the best fun you’re ever likely to have or, if you have not received your placement at this stage, on receipt of your Placement Advice.

Also please note, that to travel with us, you must not have any dependant children. And you must not have a criminal record, as this may revoke our application to get you a work permit/visa.
